Challenge
Since its inception in 2004, Latitude 64 has built up its system support with internal documents, various online shops and a standalone financial system. None of the systems were connected to other parts of the business or to incoming production.
The lack of standardization of data management and processes led to many deviations and inefficient flows. In order to continue growth in a global market and develop the business, the owners and management realized that there was a need to implement a business system and streamlined processes.
Solution
Latitude 64 turned to BeOneNorth's business-savvy consultants for guidance on how to implement the work. The aim was to create better control, streamline operations, and enable continued growth.
Work began in late 2022 with the definition of the project's scope, objectives and ensuring consensus and commitment in project implementation. The project formally started in February 2023.
The original plan was to implement the project in two stages. In stage 1, SAP Business One and the company's >10,000 unique items were to be implemented. This was completed with a go-live in the fall of 2023. After go-live, the implementation continued with advanced production control, WMS (incl. floating warehouse), PIM and BI systems.
The focus throughout the project has been to carry it out in close collaboration and with a focus on an active and positive relationship between customer and supplier.
Results
The ERP system was launched, within budget, on September 1, 2023 and has reached or exceeded the set impact targets for:
- Efficiency increase
- Information integration
- Cost savings
- Better decision-making
- Improved customer service
- Flexibility & scalability
- Future-proof
Award-winning
